- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 2 tbl loose earl grey tea leaves
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup confectioners sugar (or 1/2 cup sugar, 1/4 cup powdered sugar)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, room temperature
Preheat oven to 375*F.
With a sharp knife, cut dough into 1/3" thick slices. Lay out slices on a silpat-lined baking sheet (cookies will spread a little, but not a whole lot). Bake for 12 minutes, or until the edges turn just brown. Let sit on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a cooling rack. Store in an airtight container. Makes 24 cookies.
